[Bug 21811] 3impact tech demo collection crashes on first demo

You have to follow the link with a web browser, then pick one of the
archived versions to download.  The one from 7 July 2011 is
94db7d5fb391ee4f73201cdac601687b7fdbc875 3impact51_demo.exe
On real Windows, it downloads and installs fine, but 
acts strange if you decline to join or host a game.
