Why don't we fix it instead of living without it? This bug is really important to me, and I'd like to see it fixed, but I haven't ever worked with the Wine code, and I'd need a lot of help.
Exactly this is starting to be quite a required feature i already know a few people who use steam as their main IM app.
actually having a conversation with it bugged out like this is impossible.
