--- Comment #30 from George Sarantopoulos george.gms@gmail.com 2013-01-06 07:41:36 CST --- More details... The solution wasn't very tricky after all...
I downloaded the free font editor FontForge and Force Encode the font.
Step for the fix:
1) Download and install the FontForge. Right now I am using the Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon edition and I found the FontForge from software manager. The official site is the http://fontforge.org/.
2) Run FontForge and load the font etsans2.fon (You can found it at drive_c/windows/Fonts folder of .wine folder or Playonlinux folder (depends how you install the Solar Fire). Its easier to copy the etsans2.fon to your desktop and load it from there.
3) From FontForge select Encoding -> Force Encoding -> Windows Latin ("ANSI")
4) Save the font with the same name (File -> Save or File -> Save as)
5) If you load the font from your desktop folder (or any other) put the new etsans2.fon to the drive_c/windows/Fonts
6) No more steps! :)
Check for errors. Its looks to me that its working but I am not really using the program. I just installed it for someone else...
In case you don't want to fix it on your own I attach the fixed font.
