I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, the installed version of winetricks is:

https://launchpad.net/winetricks latest version is in zesty. Ubuntu hadn't updated things for a long time, e.g.,: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/winetricks/+bug/1591564
