--- Comment #4 from Adam Bolte boltronics@gmail.com 2011-01-09 09:13:23 CST --- Created an attachment (id=32785) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=32785) World of Goo (patched to latest 1.30 release) running under wine 1.3.11 on Ubuntu 10.10 using the build from the WINE PPA.
Confirming still a problem in 1.3.11. Attached is the program output of the retail boxed version.
The first HTTPS reference occurred when the Goo Factory area was loading. Once in, I clicked the connect button three times (the other three HTTPS messages).
The entire time I was running a packet capture like so: $ sudo tcpdump -s0 -i br0 -w /home/abolte/world_of_goo-1.3.11_capture.pcap
I captured absolutely nothing, but tcpdump was working - I successfully tested capturing other traffic afterwards.
You appear to get the same problem using the demo (although it connects to humanbraincloud.com instead of worldofgoo.com). It's downloadable from: http://www.worldofgoo.com/dl2.php?lk=demo&filename=WorldOfGooDemo.1.0.ex...
