As a workaround, set Client.HardwareAcceleration to false in the
Users%username%\Application Data\Battle.net\Battle.net.config file.
If there is no such option, just create it.

Example:
{
    "Client": {
        "HardwareAcceleration": "false"
    }
}

Helped me to launch the client for the first time (since there is no access to
the settings menu if you launch it for the first time I had to figure out how
to adapt the workaround mentioned on the app winehq page to editing the config
manually).
