Not confirm. Downloaded HotA, installed, updated automatically and play again. This game has bugs and sometimes crashes but I see no Wine dependency.

Are you sure you have used HotA 1.3.2 (you can find a link to the installer on this bug report page), and not a later version, without .NET installed to test this?
