The interface looks fine to me in wine-1.3.20-164-g5a7dba5. Please retest with the latest development version of Wine and attach debug output as per http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log if necessary.
I installed the wine uninstaller it removed some older wine files and app works correctly now.
