So, I tested the app on Windows, and... the issue is on Windows too.
I tried contacting the application developers a week ago, and they ignored me.

Still, it's technically not a Wine issue. Considering that it doesn't seem like
EA cares about it, maybe gaming-related forks of Wine could implement a
workaround, but it doesn't belong upstream.

So, closing.
