wine-4.19-158-g88d30985dd (Staging) is the version I just pulled from the git, and compiled. the previous commit that I have is wine-4.19-85-g7f469b689a (Staging) and it worked fine.
I'm not entirely sure what these version numbers are, but it is true there were a number of problems with the last rebase, which have hopefully all been solved by now. Can you please try with current git?
Hope this helps you start regression testing.
For the record, expecting Wine developers to perform regression tests is not going to get you very far. I don't know that any of us even have access to the game in question.

Absolutely not. You need to do the regression test as well as provide any useful information at all.
I don't know this is true as stated, but performing a regression test does greatly increase one's chances of a bug getting fixed quickly. On the other hand, since it's not unlikely this bug was caused by a Staging patch or mis-rebase, I'm not sure that there's a particularly useful way to perform a regression test.
wine-4.19-251-g292b728908 (Staging) is what i have now, and it runs fine, from command line. I will close this, if I can, and appreciate the constructive input for you Zebediah
