[Bug 17968] Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn install fails

Could this be to do with my computer not having a swap partition? It's an EeePC
so I didn't make one, as that would lower the lifetime of its flash hard drive.
I did find something about the error I got from the install program, it's
mentioned on the game developer's website:

It says it could be due to a bad CD, so I tried copying the .iso image file
across from my other computer again in case that was it. That didn't work.
