--- Comment #7 from Abe E aezekowitz@gmail.com 2008-04-26 11:45:42 --- I see that this is fixed in svn, but just as a follow-up.. The games that had issues for me were all but one of the games in the MS Pinball Arcade collection and at least two of the games in the Pinball Madness collection (Loony Labyrinth and Crystal Caliburn). These are commercial, and I do use a legit copy I bought years ago. I don't want to incur the Wrath of Microsoft et.al, so I have to leave it to the reader to find copies of these. :-)
To be specific, in MS Pinball, left and right shift control their respective flippers - without one or both of these, none of the games within this collection are useable save for the Baffle Ball table. Other games are similarly affected, though less severely.
Anything that requires the modifiers to be specific and differentiated between left and right would have displayed issues, probably failing in ways similar to this, and that's why I filed this as a blocker - this bug blocked my use of the program completely because I could not test and/or use my games. I guess this field is not for users but for developers then (in which case, why is exposed to normal users?).
