[Bug 31113] Civilization V crashes after specific amount of game turns

I opened one of my crashing saves (small map) on Windows and I could play past
the broken turn. Opening the same save afterwards in Linux also worked. Playing
a new game (duel map) has not crashed yet at turn 200.

Not sure if this is related but I could not even run the game until I
reinstalled Steam and copied in the steamapps folder. I also had to validate my
local files. I have heard that this usually fixes this bug on Windows.
