AutoCAD LT 97 window repaint problem?

When AutoCAD LT 97 is minimized to the task bar and then restored to its former
size by clicking in the task bar button only the main Wine window frame is
restored. The application area is not painted; it still shows the underlying
desktop contents.

If the check box, for “Allow window manager to control the windows”, under
the “graphics” section in “winecfg” is unchecked the application works
fine. The difference is now the icon shows up in the lower left corner of the
desktop and can’t be moved to another location.

There also appears to be some very minor list box font corruption issues too.
