I also own PR2 from GOG

$ env WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dbghelp=n" wine PR2.exe
Will result sometimes in a crash with the following messsage: 'Could not find
translation files'

Distro: Debian Jessie with own compiled Wine 1.9.,1

Any ideas?
