I have been on the test server and with the EVE version 6.12.92511 I had the FPS drop all the time very similar to the FPS drop when you see a salvage beam. But this only happened with High shader quality, with Medium shader quality the FPS rate was ok. With the latest build on the test server 6.12.92970 the problem with the High Shader is fixed. But the salvage beam still causes a very low FPS rate. So maybe CCP noticed a bug in the shader that was fixed, and the same bug is also present in the salvage beam shader.
