--- Comment #16 from Vic836 vms368@hotmail.com --- Ok, I will keep in mind that, thank you.
But, there are 2 problems here. One, that Wine 9 opens the programs but without names in the buttons, etc., also eMule further throws an error message then closes when clicking a button or Synthesia opens and plays sound but without any names or letters whatsoever.
The another problem is why Synthesia opens and runs OK but does not sound in Wine 8.21 (although it does sound in Wine 9 even without names everywhere in the program).
The initial and main problem, it's that Wine 9 no longer works properly on my computer and to my knowledge I didn't anything for that to happen.
So, once again, I have removed the .wine directory (and the .Playonlinux directory). Then I just uninstalled Wine 8.21 and reinstalled Wine 9 (wine and wine64). And, the same thing happens as above quoted, the apps opens without any names, even winecfg opens a blank window.
I don't know what else to do, except to remove Wine and use aMule for Linux instead of eMule (for once, aMule works OK and stably currently).
And to use Windows 11 (I have dual boot on the laptop) to play Synthesia (wait, that Synthesia does not work properly on Windows 11 and distorts sounds even when checking backwards compatibility.. LOL).
