--- Comment #2 from Leah O postscript@sasktel.net 2011-12-25 21:57:26 CST --- I also had this error when launching in 10.04, I had first installed PvsZ using winetriks on Linux Mint 11.04 in which it worked as long as I browsed to it in netbook/.local/share/wineprefix/Plants vs Zombies and clicked on the .exe. Winetriks had an already saved configuration that I could not see the details. I could not run PvsZ from the Desktop Icon or from the .wine folder. When I ran on 10.04 computer I received a similar error to you, I have attached the terminal window and error screen. I tried downloading winetriks but it was not available. I found Q4Wine but I could not find any pre-packaged configurations such as they had in Winetriks. What I did to fix this: copy the working folder from Mint over to mine. Works! I'm sorry that I don't know how to get the configuration into Q4.
I've had some problems with the game during loading, in between levels, and I can not run full screen.
