It now sets up .net 2.0 well enough for this app, but only if you don't have msttcorefonts installed via linux (which makes the windows corefont installers exit silently).
I recall that the installers call CreateFontIndirect on the font to be installed and exit if that succeeds. You might want to just cabextract the files.
