Bug 27895 seems to be mostly Ubuntu, but also has comments from Mint and Gentoo
users. While most of the users there are using older PA/ALSA-plugin versions,
at least one Ubuntu 12.04 user reported problems with PA 1.1 and libasound2
1.0.25.
