I follow the instructions up to this point

Now it's time to apply the raw input patch needed for mouse look in AO.
You can get the patch here or at the bottom of this post. You need to extract
first.

Apply the patch.
Code:
patch -p1 < raw3.patch
./tools/make_requests

at which time the terminal responds with says there's no such file in the
directory.

And I am unsure what dpkg-commit is.
