This only slightly improves FPS. But it still has a big impact on gameplay:
GPU usage now is 10-20% higher and CPU usage is around 10% lower. Especially during rain, the game runs much better now. The biggest effect it has, tho, is that input lag is reduced by a huge factor even in demanding areas like Novigrad. But Novigrad still runs in slow-motion at times even while CPU usage is lower and GPU usage is a little higher than before. Take note that especially Novigrad doesn't gain that much GPU usage with this patch as I see in other areas of the game.
It is still needed to limit the game to 30 FPS max as otherwise input lag comes back again and the game feels like it's stuttering.
