What X Input Method do you use? (e.g. ibus-xim)
I reported similar bug as #33921. Reverting dc02e4d1a7c35b4205f6109ad71deee5fdddd750 might help.
I'm using fcitx XIM.
Reverting this commit does help, for both YY and PDF Xchange Viewer and Netease POPO (bug 35073).
If this is true the regression id field should be set.
