The "glibc >= 2.3 without NPTL or TLS is not a supported combination." has
nothing to do with it:

1. The 0.9.45 version of wine, which ran the application fine, was showing the
same thing.
2. Actually, NPTL support IS ENABLED in my glibc. The kernel (2.4) does not
have posix threads.
