Also, as I explained in the other thread, on my system I don't have /usr/local
or I should say /usr/local -> /usr. As an experiment I removed my links, did
the install, manually moved everything from /usr/local to /usr, then restored
the links.

Wine at least up until 4.19 would let me run this way. Run out of /usr so to
speak. Are you saying that starting at some point before or at 5.10 you cannot
run the way I used to any more and I have to have a /usr/local and update my
PATH?
