[Bug 10810] Constant crash while using EDXOR

Having now tested with 0.9.53, I can confirm that the bug STILL exists.  On
0.9.52 I only tested a plain text file which apparently doesn't trigger the bug
anymore.  However, a binary file always seem to trigger the crash every time I
try to edit or move through the file in any way with the keyboard.  The mouse's
scroll wheel is also confirmed not to trigger this bug.  It is always the
keyboard.

Why the distinction between binary and ascii files causes a crash related with
the keyboard is beyond me.  I attached a more recent backtrace log just in case
it may help fix the bug.
