When I try and patch Simcity up to 1.1 the program reports "Installation
failed.  Error Code = 36". Nothing is reported in the terminal when this
happens.

I tried the same patch using the same version of Simcity in my Windows XP VM
and the patch installed successfully.

The version of Simcity I'm using is one I bought in the UK, there was a later
UK edition but mine is the original 1.0 version released here in the UK.

I ran the file in Windows XP mode, I also tried it with WINE 1.28 and had the
same issue.  I'm using WINE 1.30 which I got from the WINE PPA, it's compiled
for Ubuntu Oneiric.

It has a script which runs 2 parts, the patch itself and the Building Architect
Tool.  I extracted it and just ran the patch (PATCH.EXE) to make the debug log
smaller.  The other part of the installer which installs the Building Architect
Tool installs fine.

The command I used was just "wine PATCH.EXE".
