Unfortunately I've been able to do even less testing than before because Lucid Alpha3's boot is broken on my machine. With Alpha3 out, Alpha2 no longer installs anymore either so I've had to roll all the way back to Karmic, which doesn't compile the 1.1.39 package properly.
You should use Debian. (SCNR)
Apart for the new changes for Gallium to patch 5, the changes are minor though. Since it includes Henri's suggested corrections, I'm hoping it will get accepted into Wine if it passes your testing. This feels like working with punch card decks way back when :-)
I investigated the Gallium stuff too (as announced earlier in comment #92), but came to the same point you described in comment #95 and therefore wanted to ask here first again, but then a busy weekend didn't leave me with enough time on my hands. So you beat me and posted the updated patch series which I've gladly tested. And AFAICT from my tests (and from the attached log) everything is as before for me with the radeon driver. Therefore I'd say: sent it to the Wine patches mailing list, so the patch series gets included.
