Typing a valid IP address in a control box does not work
The address is displayed, but the application uses 0.0.0.0

Error message err:ipaddress:IPADDRESS_GetPartIndex We subclassed the wrong
window! (hwnd=0x100d2)

This can be demonstrated with Angry IP Scanner ipscan221.exe, available from
http://www.angryziber.com/w/Home
