Just tested, it's amazing how it runs for a first working run of the game.

trace:fps:IWineD3DSwapChainImpl_Present 0x19df20 @ approx 23.95fps
I had a look at the FPS and i have always around the 20 FPS, which is very good
i think, i don't have a lot more FPS on Windows, altough my rig is quite good.

Now, is your patch a hack to bypass the problem or is it a patch that could be
commited to the Wine tree? Just to know...
