Yeah, I know that'd be a separate regression, that's why I mentioned how I got
there, but I've tried the "real way" twice now with the same results, only to
be told that's a no-op and now a false result.

Perhaps you can tell me, short of testing all 303 patches between 1.1.13 and
1.1.14, the true way to find the bug? If I am doing the testing wrong, by all
means please correct me.
