It may be a bug in the package itself. Does it work if you build 1.1.17 in git?
Thats what I thought but it continues for 1.1.17-1.1.21 and it happens in my 1.1.22 version I compiled.
Although how would I build a specific version from git?
git checkout wine-1.x.y && ./configure && make depend && make
Try building 1.1.16/1.1.17 and verify they work/don't work, respectively.
Sorry about the severity thing..well it doesn't matter you can close this bug it was due to packaging, sorta. It was because of the wrapper the bin32-wine package used. I tried the bin32-wine-suse package and this worked fine.
Sorry false alarm..at least I know what package to use now >.>
