--- Comment #5 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- (In reply to double55 from comment #4)
I will not try anything, I gave you the file, look for the game yourself and do not be rude. (Although for those stubborn like you, I already checked demo, the bugs are the same). And your link with virus.
Hello,
1. Please follow the bug writing guidelines: - Don't be rude. Béla Gyebrószki was not rude, you were. - Links to direct download or file-sharing services are forbidden, especially when it is the full version of a copyrighted software. "Include a download link (if one is available) from the software's website." - The bug reporter is expected to do the testing himself, because not everyone has the application and not everyone is affected. - Read more rules there: https://wiki.winehq.org/Bugs#Do.27s_and_Don.27ts
2. There are two demos of Soldiers of Anarchy. The first demo is the one linked in comment 3 (soademo_1.9.77en.exe).
The second demo (soademo2_en.exe) is available there: https://www.fileplanet.com/archive/p-18044/Soldiers-of-Anarchy-Demo-2 and there (both files are identical) : https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=1694
I can confirm the issue with both demos with wine-devel 4.19.
In the terminal output from the first demo, there was complains of missing gstreamer 'good' 32bit plugin. It was indeed missing from my 64bit system, so I installed that. After that, the gstreamer complains were gone, but the application crashed in the menu when playing the menu item sound effects. So for the first demo, this bug is blocked by that issue.
The second demo doesn't have that sound issue so I'll use it for this bug and fill the URL field with it.
$ du -b soademo2_en.exe 168358400 soademo2_en.exe $ sha256sum soademo2_en.exe 0f58c2563c7c0b95b712785953ad3fce32fb6f3bf4cf98a45d83d7eba2b1fc27 soademo2_en.exe
3. Attach full terminal output, not only stderr and not trimmed. There is also a tracelog.txt in the application directory that shows that the error is caused by directx 7. I'll attach both files.
4. I don't have administrator privileges. Please administrators, remove comment 2 with the link to the torrent file.
Regards.
