While running it with WINEDEBUG=warn+all, I also noticed this graphical difference that might be related.
Under Windows (tested under XP x64), the mostly black part with artefacts does not exist (it is the grey of the background)
Previous bug logged for this app: #14664 - There might be some useful info about the ways it uses / abuses bitmaps?
