This is how bug #13872 manifests itself when the GL output is scaled to the full window size. That bug has been fixed by commit 33d31a3547b51eddbf9fe835285577541b91c05c. If the latest development snapshot of Wine fixes it for you, this can be closed as a duplicate.
I'm afraid this fix has only made the mouse control in-game way too fast! :(
