That would imply we're leaking shaders, I think, but if that were the case we'd see a corresponding leak on the Wine side as well, and I explicitly didn't.

That I believe only affects the Xorg server process.
I think the most likely explanation is that the base memory usage is higher. It's certainly possible there's also a Mesa memory leak on top of the application's memory leak, but I'm not sure it's the most likely explanation.
