--- Comment #1 from markk@clara.co.uk 2010-07-04 09:07:02 --- I ran WinHlp32.exe from Windows 98 under Wine 1.2rc5 to view BBCTITLE.HLP. Clicking a link (each of which leads to a page with a sound playing under Windows) gives a dialog box titled MCI Error, saying "Cannot find the specified file. Make sure the path and filename are correct." The same dialog appears once more. Console output as follows: fixme:mmio:MMIO_InstallIOProc Global procedures not implemented fixme:mci:MCIWndProc support for MCIWNDM_ message WM_USER+27756 not implemented fixme:mci:MCIWndProc support for MCIWNDM_ message WM_USER+27755 not implemented fixme:mci:MCIWndProc support for MCIWNDM_ message WM_USER+27756 not implemented fixme:mci:MCIWndProc support for MCIWNDM_ message WM_USER+27756 not implemented fixme:mci:MCIWndProc support for MCIWNDM_ message WM_USER+27755 not implemented fixme:mci:MCIWndProc support for MCIWNDM_ message WM_USER+27755 not implemented
It looks like in addition to fixing winhlp32, some work would need to be done on MCI if this feature is to be implemented.
