Summary: Google Sketchup 7 crashes after downloading model Product: Wine Version: 1.1.8 Platform: Other URL: http://sketchup.google.com OS/Version: other Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: dank@kegel.com
Google Sketchup 7 runs fairly well, though I had to set HW_OK=1 in the registry as described in bug 14045 and uncheck 'show on startup' in the initial dialog to get it to work.
It downloads models ok, but once they're downloaded, one of several unpleasant things may happen: a) it might complain "bad file" (can't remember the exact message), b) it might crash with the following backtrace: =>1 0x032b17dd in xpcom_core (+0x17dd) (0x032b17e1) c) it might crash while saving, with the following backtrace: =>1 0x78aaa180 (0x0032dcd8) 2 0x7eb8966a call_window_proc+0x6a(hwnd=?, msg=?, wp=0, lp=0, result=0x32dd50, arg=0x78aaa180) [dlls/user32/winproc.c:458] in user32 (0x0032dd18)
It doesn't always crash, so if you save after every download and are patient, you can get something done.
