There's already an attempt at implementing this at
https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/2808.

The inconsistent state of the SNI protocol and the requirement it seems to have
of one DBus connection per icon, however makes it IMO difficult to consider
implementing it in Wine at the moment.
