Summary: Noteworthy Composer: no sound on playback Product: Wine Version: 0.9.44. Platform: Macintosh OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-multimedia AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: singingwolfboy@gmail.com
No sound output on playback. When I press the play button, a dialog pops up:
One or more of your selected MIDI devices are failing to open.
Would you like to go to the MIDI options tab to investigate?
In the MIDI options tab, nothing is listed under the "Available play devices:" list, and "Wine midi mapper" is listed under "Devices used by play back:". If I click OK without changing anything, another dialog pops up:
The following play devices failed to open properly:
Wine midi mapper
This problem must be corrected before proceeding.
If I move "Wine midi mapper" to the "Available play devices" list and hit OK, the MIDI options tab closes, and the piece begins to "play": the notes are highlighted one after another as normal, but there is no sound.
I believe this bug may be related to bug 9629.
