I compared the variables of the host running on the host env >env.list and wine cmd SET and compared the list of envvars. It seems that almost all envvars from the host are propagated, except a few are not propagaged (i.e. "blacklisted" ?). In my case, these have are not propagated

The majority is propagated. So, it seems that at the moment a kind of blacklisting is in place. However, it might be more sensible, to only whitelist those envvars that are meaningful to wine and its applications.
