--- Comment #11 from Anton olaf_nz@hotmail.com 2010-07-26 03:52:22 --- I am not sure if this is the same bug but I can describe when it happens for me: Everything seems absolutely fine until I enable shadows (or go to a predefined scene that has shadows enabled). After that, even if I disable shadows, every time I zoom in until a part of the model goes past the display boundaries (requires clipping) then things go haywire.
The best way I can describe it is that the co-ordinates of the other end of the clipped object move around to incorrect places (which change as you zoom in or out). See attachment "Sketchup display issue once shadows enabled."
Things come right as soon as the entire model is able to be shown within the display boundaries (which limits the usefulness substantially). It's certainly NOT a "trivial".
This has been affecting me for a while. Just upgraded to Wine 1.2 with no improvement.
Running 2.6.32-23-generic Ubuntu with an on-board ATI Radeon 2100. Compiz is on, but it makes no difference.
