Would it be a viable option to start a kickstarter campaign to fund this feature? I think its just a fundamental part of wine that has to be implemented (As far as i can tell from what i read here). If the limiting factor is a full time developer maybe a kickstarter campaign could help to "motivate" someone. Maybe a developer reads this and things it is a good idea and starts a campaign by himself. I would like to pay for it.
