If I continue to press the up arrow key, the page continues to advance upward but the cursor moves down another line, each time. If I then press the down arrow key, the cursor jumps to the second line down, from the top. The same thing happens at the bottom of the page, only in the opposite direction.
If, after the cursor moves down two lines, I switch to another app and come back, it is displayed on the top line, where it should be.
If I am highlighting text [Shift+arrow key], it works fine.
This occurs in regular text files.
I am running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (7.10), on an Acer Aspire 3690 laptop with 2GB RAM. I am usinf Wine v.0.9.56.
