------- Additional Comments From doom3d@atw.hu 2007-09-02 15:23 ------- /re: I had sound when playing the game./ Now I played a few hours with winecfg. It seems, that the mapeditor doesn't hang up, but it reacts slowly. I have changed emulation from win2000 to win98, switched off pixel shaders, installed audio drivers for Win98 under wine, changed some other settings where there was a hint that it might help. I changed some other things there and back, to see possible changes. Now, if I hit ctrl+p on an object rich map, it takes only 54 seconds at 100% CPU load to draw passability marks. If i click on other map area or move scrolls, it takes another 54 sec. What am I doing wrong? I also tried to install chipset drivers under wine, but it failed saying, that "a registry value is not ok, please reboot." When I start winecfg, i receive some messages in terminal window, "install libjack.so", and an opengl error. Thank You for help in advance. I go back to RTFM mode now.
