After commenting out wine-1.0-rc2/dlls/user32/tests/menu.c START_TEST(menu) lines 2343 through to 2363 I am able to fully compile and run wine-1.0rc2.
That's a know problem with FC. A workaround is:
ulimit -s unlimited
