Created attachment 47089 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=47089 screenshot (comparison)
This driver installation package comes with Borderlands (Steam version), the driver itself probably does nothing under Wine, but the installer displays the AMD logo and text in a strange way. The logo on the welcome screen is shifted to the right, and punctuation (.) is placed in front of the sentences.
I ran a regression test and found that the problem didn't occur before
ddaea5456edf7df5ef1a04cf6c8bbcd05247827d is the first bad commit commit ddaea5456edf7df5ef1a04cf6c8bbcd05247827d Author: Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org Date: Fri Sep 24 15:20:52 2010 +0200
user32: Set the default process layout based on the file description in the version resource.
You can reproduce the problem with the installer linked in the URL field, although it is a different version of the driver. To reproduce the problem run 'AMDcpuv1.3.2.6-[Guru3D.com].exe' which will extract the installer in a specified location. Now start the installer with ../Driver/32-bit/DPInst.exe
