It appears my initial report wasn't accurate enough.
instead of simply, failing to read the .data files, the Game deletes them when it needs to use them to log in. the game log-in console will display something along the lines of "error Data files corrupted." interestingly, when the files are placed again when the game is still on, the files are again deleted when the log-in attempt is made.
I dont know if this is the result of changing quartz.dll to "native," but yeah.
should i rename this ticket to "NavyFIELD deletes its necessary .data files"?
