EVE Online (in Fedora 12) has not had working audio since 1.1.38 (I think).
Sound at login screen works and it works right through to the actual game and
then after 3 seconds or so it freezes the game.

If you are AFK mining or running multiple accounts it really helps to be able
to hear the lock-on sound effect.
