[Bug 5322] Both MSVC6 and MSVB6 installers die very early

I just tested this in wine from CVS from June 03, 2006 and my copy of VB 6.0, I
wasn't able to test C++.

The install crashes on the first go around just like in the bug.

Then I relaunch the installer and it runs and installs fine.
